Spotting a Diet Pill Rip-off

Starting a diet is tough enough without worrying about being ripped-off by companies looking to make a quick buck.  Knowing what to look for beforehand can save you money and time.

Below is  listed what to look for when choosing diet pills.

  • Realistic- Are the claims made realistic. Losing 20 pounds in 1 week is not only unrealistic, but very unhealthy.  Nobody can guarantee weight loss, mainly because nobody knows what you situation is.  How overweight you are or how much you exercise are key elements that go along with diet pills.  If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.  Anyone can lose weight quickly by doing eating cabbage soup or fasting, but those same people will struggle with keeping that weight off.
  • Cost- Is this plan expensive?   Before you shell out the money for an expensive diet plan, do some research to find out how much it would cost you to have a consultation with a dietitian. If you can get personalized nutrition advice from an expert for less money than an internet e-book, go with the expert.
  • Decision Time- After determining the cost, health risks, realistic goals, it’s time to decide.  Do you still feel good about this diet.  Then go for it.  Commit yourself and go for it.  Good Luck and much success.
